South Africa’s main opposition party, the Democratic Alliance (DA) has confirmed that the ANC has until close of business next week on Monday to hand over its full cadre deployment records.

This after the Constitutional Court dismissed the ANC’s appeal bid against a High Court ruling which ordered the party to hand over the records within five days.

The DA says failure to do so will expose them to a similar fate like that of former President Jacob Zuma when he was jailed for contempt of court.
