The SA Council of Churches has emphasized the critical importance of the upcoming elections on the 29th of May.

The council urges voters to elect credible leaders who can build a better country, stating that the responsibility should not be left solely to the liberators.

“In our own reflection as the SACC, we kind of abdicated our collective responsibility to the people,” said Reverend Mzwandile Molo. “We end up with this idea that we have people who liberated us and we must give over to them what needs to be done.”
