Speaking at the opening of the 51st Annual National Leadership Mission of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Netanyahu outlined Israel’s security conditions for ending the conflict and moving toward long-term regional stability.

The prime minister stated that the war will not conclude unless Hamas is completely disarmed. He demanded that the militant group surrender what he estimated to be approximately 60,000 assault weapons and that the remaining 500 kilometers of tunnel infrastructure be destroyed.

Netanyahu framed the measures as essential to ensuring Israel’s security and preventing future attacks. “There can be no reconstruction without demilitarisation,” he emphasized, calling for international collaboration on a sustainable peace plan that prioritizes security guarantees.

The remarks come amid ongoing diplomatic discussions about Gaza’s future governance, humanitarian reconstruction, and broader Middle East stability. Netanyahu stressed that regional partners and global allies must work together to ensure that Gaza does not revert to becoming a base for militant operations.
