The day following President Cyril Ramaphosa’s State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Thursday, 6th February 2025, LN24 Reporter Lindokuhle Mabaso took to the streets of Cape Town to engage with South Africans and gather their thoughts and reflections on the speech. This year’s SONA was particularly significant, given the evolving international landscape, and we were eager to understand how citizens across the country perceived the President’s address and the potential implications it may have for the future of the nation.
