Malema Challenges President Ramaphosa on US Pressure

EFF leader Julius Malema urged President Cyril Ramaphosa to resist US pressure over South Africa’s land reform. He criticized Ramaphosa’s leadership during the SONA 2025 debate, following Donald Trump’s recent remarks against the Expropriation Act. AfriForum, which lobbied against the law, now faces a treason complaint from the MK Party for alleged misinformation. Political parties remain split on the issue.
