Ukraine’s parliament has voted to remove Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal from office as part of a broader leadership shake-up intended to improve the country’s wartime economic and defence operations.
The decision leads to the dissolution of the current cabinet, with new appointments expected to be confirmed the following day.
First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, recently nominated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is the sole candidate proposed to head the new government.
