Flight operations have resumed at Samara airport in Russia after temporary takeoff and landing restrictions were lifted on Saturday, according to a statement from a spokesperson for the country’s civil aviation authority.

The measures, which lasted around 45 minutes, were put in place to ensure flight safety.
