Ukraine’s Prime Minister focused on Russian attacks targeting the country’s energy grid during talks in Washington ahead of President Zelenskyy’s upcoming visit.

She emphasised efforts to defend Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and strengthen cooperation with the U.S. on energy, sanctions, and resilience for the winter.

President Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet with U.S. officials to discuss air defence and long-range strike capabilities, including potential delivery of long-range missiles.

U.S. Treasury Secretary highlighted strong support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and commitment to lasting peace, while thanking Ukraine for backing a joint U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund aimed at boosting investment and mineral access.

The Ukrainian delegation includes top security and economic officials accompanying the Prime Minister.
