Mediators Begin 14-Day Process to Finalise Implementation

U.S. President Donald Trump says his Board of Peace has reached what he described as a “historic” agreement with Hamas and other Palestinian armed factions on a framework for phased disarmament in the Gaza Strip.

The proposed agreement establishes a 14 day negotiation period to finalise implementation details. Mediators from Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye, and the United States will work together to develop a phased timeline for disarmament.

President Trump described the breakthrough as a major milestone in advancing his 20 point plan for Gaza, saying it represents significant progress toward restoring stability in the region.

According to reports, Hamas officials have agreed to the proposed framework. Israel has not yet issued an official response to the announcement.

The proposed framework is expected to undergo further negotiations before any final agreement is implemented.
