Speaking at the European Parliament for the first time as a senior official, Vice President Hsiao emphasised the significance of global cooperation in the face of attempts to isolate Taiwan. She was joined by Foreign Minister Ling Jialong on a visit that had not been officially reported in advance. Luke de Pulfort, IPAC's executive director, highlighted the importance of the visit in terms of international backing.
