I am back again to sound the alarm once again on the toxic chemical bovaer that is being added to our food supply. Farmers are being instructed to administer Bovaer, a feed additive, to their cows to reduce burping and farting, with the alleged goal of improving the weather. This chemical is being quietly introduced into our dairy supply, with the expectation that consumers will remain unaware. By 2027, Norwegian farmers will be required to feed all their cows with Bovaer, and those who refuse will face significant financial penalties, including the loss of up to $90,000 in government subsidies. As a result, farmers will be effectively forced to comply, as the financial burden of opting out would be too great. Farmers are now warning about the dangers of feeding cows a toxic chemical, all in the name of combating climate change.

In Norway, an attempt was made to market it in what they called “climate milk,” but the product failed to gain traction with consumers. Rather than abandoning the initiative, the additive is now being discreetly added to regular milk supplies. That government is taking a more aggressive approach, essentially mandating that all farmers use Bovaer in their cow feed, regardless of their concerns about the potential impact on animal health and the environment. The move has sparked alarm among farmers, who are speaking out against the forced use of a chemical they believe could be harmful to their livestock.

The ultimate plan is to ensure that all ruminant livestock used for dairy and meat production are fed methane-suppressing chemicals within a matter of years, sparking widespread concerns about the potential long-term consequences for human health and the environment, and raising questions about the real motives behind this controversial plan.

So what is Bovaer? It’s a feed additive that contains the active ingredient 3-nitrooxypropanol, which is specifically designed to reduce methane emissions from cattle by targeting an enzyme in the rumen that produces methane during digestion. Manufacturers are administering Bovaer in small doses, approximately a quarter teaspoon daily, which reportedly reduces enteric methane emissions by around 30% in dairy cows and up to 45% in beef cattle. Regulatory bodies, including the UK Food Standards Agency, European Food Safety Authority, and US Food and Drug Administration, are claiming that Bovaer is safe for human consumption, despite having previously made similar claims about Covid vaccines. Currently, Bovaer is being tested in the UK, with companies like Arla Foods, Tesco, Morrisons, and Aldi, conducting trials across 30 farms since November 2024. Other dairy companies in Sweden and Finland are also using this additive. However, experts are warning that Bovaer is being used solely to address the Net Zero initiative, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by stopping cows from producing methane, allegedly to prevent severe weather conditions.

At the same time, investigative journalist Kent Nielsen is shedding light on the darker side of this practice, releasing a shocking video that highlights the devastating impact on cow health, as local farmers come forward to share their horrific experiences with Bovaer-fed cows, which are suffering from extreme fevers, debilitating diarrhea, and painful mastitis. Handlers are advised to wear personal protective gear, including eye wear, a dust mask, and impervious gloves, and to wash their hands after handling the product. In the event of accidental eye exposure, handlers are instructed to rinse their eyes thoroughly with water. Despite these warnings, Bovaer is being added to the food supply, raising concerns among consumers and experts alike.
