On Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he has directed his trade representatives to resume trade discussions with Thailand and Cambodia.

The move follows a ceasefire agreement reached between the two Southeast Asian nations.

“I just spoke with the Acting Prime Minister of Thailand and the Prime Minister of Cambodia,” Trump stated in a post on Truth Social. “I’ve instructed my trade team to restart negotiations.”
