The first day of Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris emphasised the power of God’s Word and the importance of faith in receiving from God. The teaching further acknowledged that circumstances can sometimes appear to worsen when someone is believing God for a particular healing or breakthrough. However, participants were encouraged not to allow changing circumstances to undermine their confidence in God’s promises.

A key emphasis of the service was the life-giving power of God’s Word. Drawing from John 6:63, which records Jesus saying that His words are spirit and life, the message highlighted the spiritual significance of receiving and acting on the Word.
John 1:14 declares that the Word became flesh, pointing to Jesus Christ as the living expression of God’s Word. Proverbs 4:20–22 further encourages believers to pay attention to God’s words, describing them as life and health to those who find them.

Holding On to Faith Through Every Circumstance
The account of Jairus in Luke 8:41–50 illustrates the importance of continuing to believe even when circumstances appear discouraging. When news came that his daughter had died, Jesus told Jairus not to be afraid, but to believe, and she would be made well.
The passage served as a reminder of the importance of maintaining faith in the face of seemingly impossible situations.
