Global Communion Service – May 4, 2025
Ministering: Rev. Chris Oyakhilome D.Sc., D.Sc., D.D.
The Global Communion Service for May began with an atmosphere of joy and spiritual anticipation, as Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared this new month as the Month of Blessings. He reminded us that in God’s calendar, each month builds upon the last. The favor we experienced in April doesn’t fade it continues with us, adding to the spiritual foundation God is laying in our lives. We don’t leave behind what God has said; every Word is a building block of strength and victory.
A profound moment in the service was Pastor Chris’ reflection on a documentary titled The War on Health, which exposed a major deception concerning salt in modern medicine. He explained that this revelation was not a personal opinion or trend-driven idea, but one given by the Holy Spirit. Many have suffered even died because of a widespread medical narrative that salt is dangerous. Yet, when Pastor Chris prayed in tongues, the Spirit revealed that the body actually needs more salt, not less.
He pointed to the scriptures as divine confirmation. In 2 Kings 2:19–21, the prophet Elisha used salt to heal poisoned water and prophesied life and freedom from death. Jesus also affirmed the value of salt in Mark 9:50, saying, “Salt is good… have salt in yourselves.” Pastor Chris reminded us that Jesus never exaggerated; His words are absolute truth. In the documentary, even medical professionals admitted that many illnesses stem from salt deficiency and ironically, salt is often administered intravenously in hospitals, even though patients are routinely told to avoid it in their diets. This contradiction reveals the manipulations of an industry that profits when people are unwell.
He stressed the importance of spiritual sensitivity, especially through speaking in tongues, which opens us up to divine insight. “When I speak in tongues, the Spirit leads me. Solutions come. I interpret the mysteries to my understanding,” he said. These spiritual solutions often go against popular opinion, but they lead to life and truth.
As the service continued, Pastor Chris unveiled the prophetic message for the month. Citing 1 Peter 3:8–9, he declared that we are called to inherit a blessing. This led to a deeper teaching on the Blessing of Abraham a divine inheritance that includes ownership, increase, and dominion. Through Genesis 28:1–4 and Genesis 26:1–14, Pastor Chris showed how Abraham’s blessing is consistent: it includes land, prosperity, and God’s unfailing presence.
Expanding further, he highlighted that only one man Abraham was given legal ownership of the world. But that promise was not only for him. According to Galatians 3:13–14, 16, and 28–29, the same promise was fulfilled in Christ, and since we are in Christ, we are heirs of that inheritance. “The world belongs to us,” Pastor Chris declared. “We have been brought into a better covenant, established on better promises.”
He concluded the message with a powerful declaration from Deuteronomy 28:1–13: “Your store is blessed. Your bank account is blessed. Your going out and coming in is blessed. It’s blessings everywhere!” This is not just a theme for May it is a reality to be walked in every day of the month.
Pastor Chris also encouraged everyone to participate in this week’s Your Loveworld Specials (YLWS), a continuation of the Spirit-filled teachings and prophetic direction God is giving His people in this hour.
