Fentanyl Trafficking from Mexico to U.S. Drops by 40%, Says Mexican President

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced on Friday that fentanyl trafficking from Mexico into the United States has decreased by approximately 40% since January, when the U.S. President began his term.

The U.S. leader has pointed to fentanyl trafficking as a reason for imposing tariffs on Mexico, although many shipments remain unaffected due to their entry under a trilateral trade agreement.
