Christians around the world are set to participate in the May 2026 edition of the Global Prayer and Fasting with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, scheduled to run from Tuesday, May 26 to Thursday, May 28, 2026.
The three-day spiritual program, organized by the LoveWorld Nation, is expected to draw millions of believers across different countries through live broadcasts on various ministry platforms. The sessions will feature fervent prayers, worship, prophetic declarations and exhortations focused on global peace, the spread of the Gospel and the advancement of the Church worldwide.
Like previous editions of the Global Prayer and Fasting program, participants are usually encouraged to fast daily and join the live closing prayer sessions at 6 PM GMT+1.
A Global Call to Prayer
The Global Prayer and Fasting meetings have become a major monthly gathering for members of the LoveWorld community and Christians around the world. The meetings often focus on praying for nations, leaders, world events and divine intervention in global affairs.
During earlier editions in 2026, Pastor Chris emphasized the importance of united prayer and spiritual alignment among believers worldwide. Several broadcasts described the meetings as moments where “strongholds are broken” and “forces are realigned” through prayer.
The May edition is expected to continue in the same atmosphere of intense worship, intercession, and keeping our world in check, with worship ministrations from the LoveWorld Singers and prayer sessions led by senior ministers of the ministry.
