Following the incident with Alaska Airlines where a cabin door blow out in flight, one would think that the FAA would solely be focused on safety.
The FAA is, instead, making diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) the priority. According to information on its website, the FAA is actively trying to recruit future employees with severe intellectual disabilities, psychiatric problems, and other mental and physical conditions.
The FAA states the targeted disabilities category is the only protected group for which federal agencies can have a hiring goal since severely disabled workers face the most challenges with obtaining employment.
The agency also claims diversity is integral to ensuring safe and efficient travel across the world. Panic causes less trust in the talent in the cockpit. Which means less flights. Which means the climate change activists get what they want. The skies to themselves and more control.
