It was a spectacle of great glory at the April Global Communion Service with the LoveWorld President, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome DSc., DSc., DD., who pronounced the new month as the Month of Intercession. “Make up your mind you’ll effect changes through prayer. God will make happen for you what you make happen for others,” Pastor Chris heralded at the global service on Sunday April 7th.

Reading from Romans 8:26, Pastor Chris emphasised the role of the Holy Spirit, helping the saints in prayer. In further detail, the man of God explained that the Holy Ghost performs this ministry in the saints through prayer, ‘with sighs too deep for words’. Consequently, when you pray like this, everything turns out for your good, he remarked, charging the saints to engage in fervid prayers at all times.

Citing a biblical parallel, the man of God recounted Epaphras’ contention with the forces of the adversary, on behalf of the saints as recorded in Colossians 4:12. There are benefits in praying for others, Pastor Chris posited as he referred to the instances of Abraham and Job, who got blessed after praying for others. “This month, take attention away from yourself; attend to the needs of others. Be concerned about what others are going through,” the man of God charged the saints.
