Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has delayed his planned trip to Azerbaijan, originally set for next week, according to a statement from his office on Saturday.
The postponement comes amid ongoing events in Gaza and Syria, as well as a packed diplomatic and security agenda.
The visit, which was scheduled for May 7–11 and included a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, will be rescheduled at a later time. Israel and Azerbaijan share strong cooperation in the fields of security and energy.
