LN24 International’s Hillary Panashe visited the Witswatersrand University in Johannesburg, where she engaged with students who shared their pressing concerns about the country’s education system and employment opportunities.

The students emphasized the need for an effective education system that caters to the unique needs of young South Africans, preparing them for a rapidly changing world. They also called for an increase in employment opportunities for graduates, addressing the high levels of youth unemployment in the country.

“We want an education system that equips us with skills to succeed in the 21st century,” said one student. “We’re tired of being mere statistics; we want to be active contributors to our economy.”
